NOVA LOCKS- These locks cost only slightly more than the tubular style, but offer greater security. These are disc lock, and though the operation is for turn applications, the key is actually turned through 180 to operate. The lock presents a smaller opening so that heavy tools cannot be easily inserted to torque the lock. On the negative, vibration may miss-align the discs, requiring care at key insertion, and the smaller key will wear quicker, especially if used roughly.
